Blinds are stylish and practical, but dusty or dirty blinds reduce the quality of light and are simply un-hygienic. We recommend that blinds be cleaned annually to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene and cleanliness.

Manually cleaning blinds involves cloths and brushes and as well as being massively time consuming, has the following drawbacks:

  • Disperses the dust into the room
  • Delivers poor results
  • Doesn’t  clean the header box, which generally has a great deal of dirt and debris inside.
  • Generates static, which actually attracts more dust, so  you create a bigger problem!

The Cleaning Process

Liverpool Blind Cleaning uses the latest ultrasonic technology to deliver a clean that is so deep that your blinds will not only be deep-down clean, but will look like new!  Ultrasonic cleaning is the most cost-effective way to maintain and clean your blinds.

In addition to the cleaning process, each blind receives some preventative maintenance to ensure continued smooth running and faulty blinds can be repaired while being cleaned.

We collect your blinds, removing each blind from each window and labelling them to ensure the correct blind is returned to the correct window.

Once back at our cleaning centre the blinds are pre-rinsed to remove any loose debris and if repairs are required they will be processed at this stage. They are then ultrasonically deep-cleaned and rinsed paying particular attention to the header box that tends to collect most of the dust and debris over time.  The ultrasonic bath transmits ultra-high frequency sound through heated water containing special detergents. This causes microscopic bubbles to form in every crevice of the blind.  The bubbles grow until they implode and it is these thousands of implosions per second that delivers the deep-cleaning action. Once cleaned the blind is transferred to the rinse tank to remove any detergent residues.

The blinds are then hung up and dried using a hot air dryer, and once dried each blind’s header box parts have fresh lubricant applied to keep them working properly.

Finally they are returned to you and hung in their original location.

We can handle any type, size and quantity of blinds, with special pricing for large volumes or regular contracts.
